Plastic Micro Injection Molding
Asian Plastic SM-5EJ Micro Injection Molding Machine
This system includes a three stage injection structure
-- metering, injection and plastic separation.
High Precision injection is achieved using servo electric drives, that incorporate a full closed loop control that manages acceleration and deceleration time to achieve optimal injection control.
The system has a tie-bar-less clamping unit, which greatly increases the efficiency of the tool change while maximizing the needed mold space. High pressure clamping is accomplished by a central clamping structure, which limits the deformation of the moving platen thus increasing product stability.
The SM-5EJ also incorporates a special nozzle contact device, sprue ejection capabilities and allows mold opening, feeding and ejection to be performed simultaneously, reducing overall cycle time.

STOP THE PRESS!
Realtek signs exclusive deal with
Crestec, Japan's leading manufacturer of High
Resolution E-Beam Lithography technology.
At a recent workshop held at MINIFAB
2008, Crestec's president and sales manager introduced
their advanced E-Beam technology to a packed audience. They
also announced that an exclusive distribution agreement had been
reached with Realtek Technologies for the Australasia region.
REALTEK RECEIVES AN ORDER
FOR AUSTRALIA'S FIRST NANO SCALE MACHINING CENTRE
The Kira SuperMill-2M has a positional
accuracy of 10nm with a 50,000rpm main spindle and it's 160,000rpm
finishing spindle offers tool makers and researchers alike an
outstanding next generation machine tool capability.
This new technology developed in
collaboration with Tokyo University will be delivered to UniSA early
in 2009.
RETOOLING THE MINING SECTOR
Realtek has traditionally been seen as
a market leader in the small end of machine tool technology.
However, in the 2007/2008 period we have been very active in the
large scale retooling of the mining sector.
